Day 2.5

The phone continues to be busy today.

Bob Bowman changed his mind about dropping out & has decided to limp his way to Reno with the bad shock on his 2007 Honda ST1300.  We're hoping someone in the area can offer some assistance with this issue so we can get Bob back to the business of collecting bonuses.

German representative, Gerhard Memmen-Krueger was a bit uncertain what the term "calling a touchdown" meant at the Desert Christ Park bonus in Yucca Valley, CA. But he guessed correctly.

Meanwhile, John Cooper & Felipe Salman Valdez have found themselves in a unique situation.  They are stuck in Browning, Montana.  The entire county is without power so they are unable to pump any gas.  The two of them are going to have to get creative.  We'll see how they do.  LD riders are amazingly resourceful so we have faith they'll figure something out.

Kirsten Talken-Spaulding is visiting quite a lot of Canada.  Her wife, Jennifer, is posting on her blog site (careful not to disclose anything that goes against our social media policy).  Here is a link to it - she has a great perspective on what this rallying thing is all about.
